At the beginning of SHIRLEY COLLINS’ recording career in 1959 she recorded a series of 7? vinyl EPs for the Collector Label. Originally released in very short press runs, these early recordings have been hard to find for nearly five decades. For Record Store Day 2017 on Saturday April 22nd we are releasing a newly-remastered edition of Shirley Sings Irish (her fourth Collector EP). Just like the original, this comes in a front-laminated, flipback sleeve with a beautiful new inner bag illustrated with rare photographs.
Very rare in its original form, this will be the first time this iconic records has been made available as a vinyl EP since its original release more than half a century ago.
